Brief Bio on Paul & Velma Griffis:

Paul and Velma have been missionaries in the Amazon jungle of South America for 27 years. They lived 300 miles from civilization, working with the Yanomamo Indians.

They have 30 years experience in teaching, counseling, and coaching, ranging from youth to adults. Paul coached varsity basketball and varsity football. He is also a specialist in training and working with horses, facilitating therapy with troubled young men and women.

Paul completed Professor Jesse Beery's Horse Training Course. Paul is also certified by EAGALA in Equine Assisted Therapy and Equine Assisted Learning.

Paul and Velma have five children. Four of them are grown, married and serving the Lord in ministry. Their youngest, a 17 year old daughter, is still living at home.

Paul and Velma love the Lord, and have a passion to help young people make wise choices, accept Jesus Christ as their own personal Savior and walk consistently with Him.
